About the Programmer
Olympia Auset is steadfast in her commitment to creating infrastructure for a better earth. In 2016, she started SÜPRMARKT, a low-cost organic grocery service that aims to eliminate food deserts. Since starting, the organization has served up more than 25,000 pounds of organics. Its work has been covered by the Los Angeles Times, Afropunk, Blavity, and Forbes. Having grown up in neighborhoods across Los Angeles, Auset is very familiar with the differences in creativity, potential, and happiness that accompany differing food landscapes. Auset is a Howard University alum and serves on the board of Co-Opportunity, a community-owned grocer.
About the Program
A vegan experience. SÜPRFEST brings a taste of delicious health to the Village, featuring meals from some of the best vegan vendors in the city. Eats and experiences combine to make wellness accessible, so stop by for an incredibly enjoyable afternoon!
